It's Our Blood

One fine day, a calm home was illed with a nice brown color from the framed pictures of family members that hung on the walls. The decorated frame and the message, "We are all connected by Blood," symbolized a common ___ (1). It connected generations; each image tells a tale of that family history. A great-grandfather's life appeared to be in harmony with nature and family in the picture as he smiled happily

Complication

Over the years, this family connection grew to include blood relatives, the neighborhood, and the area around them. They cared for the land and the trees and saw the river as a ___ (2). Still, growth meant change. Industrial progress was promised, but it came with a price. The river that used to be busy is now still; its waters were ___ (3), animals went away, and ields were
dying. The group that used to be proactive was going wrong because resources were running out, and people felt hopeless.

Resolution

As time went, there was a sign of hope in the middle of the ___ (4) all of sudden. People inally began to understand that the link went beyond bloodlines and involved caring for the land and its people. In this realization, the community found its connection and
